The 2024 MJAA conference was held in Melbourne on 2 Nov. It was a full day of fellowship, teaching by Dr Ashley Crane, Israeli dance led by Elizabeth Caldwell, a Messianic art demonstration by Robert Gerlach, and much more. The day ended with a Havdalah service by Tikvat Shalom, Melbourne’s newest Messianic community. Included in the 9.am-7.30pm conference was the official launch of Tikvat Shalom after about two years in operation. This was the first conference held by the MJAA in several years and it was exciting to review the growth of the organisation in Australia over the past two years. The online presence and participation of attendees was notable, with the MJAA prioritising the development of its community using internet technologies.
A very big and heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event possible. As a volunteer organisation that relies on membership fees and donations to continue its work, the MJAA conference success depended heavily on the dedication and commitment of all helpers. We appreciated the teamwork and help given so freely.
